Just in case you've forgotten, this is the recipe that made me "go pro" as a food blogger. I have a 2016 issue of Southern Cast Iron magazine to thank for the original recipe. Instead of baking it in a cast iron skillet, I baked it in a 9-inch round cake pan. And thus French Strawberry Cake was born. It's my most favorited and commented upon recipe to date...
And since strawberry season has officially begun here in Ohio (late May through early July) here's some more recipes with strawberries that I hope you'll try!
